This is the 1st Hyperion daylily to bloom this year - I love this daylily - it stands about 40 inches tall and has an intoxicating smell - it's planted with Fragrant Cloud and Wild Blue Yonder roses - wonderful when they all bloom at the same time. East Texas, with it's high humidity and clay soil, is not ideal for roses but while these have not flourished they have remained.
