I have some gorgeous Chicago Apache daylilys that have been blooming since Memorial Day week-end that I would love to share with you but my camera is in the shop due to a malfunctioning sensor. I have had such good luck taking pictures with it (I'm a novice but see the lizard) so it was disappointing to have to send it in to the factory for repair just as these daylilys were beginning to open up. The good news is that since it was a vendor defect Canon will repair it for free. Yeah! In the mean time NO pictures. Bummer.
If you are looking to put some punch in your late spring garden this daylily will do it for you - the blooms are big, a vivid burnt orange with a deep red throat and it is still loaded with buds..
